Corning Museum of Glass*
The Corning Museum of Glass cares for and displays the world’s best collection of art and historical glass. When you visit, you’ll see more than 3,500 years of history displayed, from the glass portrait of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh to contemporary sculpture made in glass. Glass is brought to life through live glassmaking demonstrations every day.

More than a museum displaying exquisite pieces, The Rockwell is a unique community center where people enjoy, connect, and reflect on the essence of the American spirit, character and values through the eyes of American artists. Housed in Corning’s Old City Hall, you are able to experience our history at the heart of Corning.
Corning’s Gaffer District*
What’s a gaffer? That’s a question we get a lot here in the Crystal City - by visitors and locals - who visit our downtown business district. A gaffer is a master glassblower and this name is a tribute to Corning’s glass heritage. Our historic downtown is known for its exceptional shopping, dining, arts and beautifully restored buildings.
Corning Palace Theatre*
The Palace Theatre is a 100% digital movie theatre with two houses (auditoriums) that seat between 75-100 patrons, with the back section of each house has stadium style seating. Their chairs are wider than most and have a slight rocker/recline feature that allows you to get more comfortable with small tables at select seats.

Mark Twain Country
Mark Twain, renowned author and world-traveler, summered in Elmira, New York for more than twenty years and there penned his literary classics including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Twain’s grave can be found at Woodlawn Cemetery and his famous study can be found on the campus of Elmira College.
Arnot Mall — Shopping Center
Arnot Mall is a regional shopping center located in the Southern Tier just off of I-86, Exit 51A. Located in Mark Twain Country and centered close to Finger Lakes Wine Country, the mall has beautiful surroundings with plenty of things for visitors to do and see. Cayuga, Seneca, and Keuka Lakes boasts the largest concentration of wineries outside of Napa Valley.

Watkins Glen State Park
Watkins Glen State Park is the most famous of the Finger Lakes State Parks, with a reputation for leaving visitors spellbound. Within two miles, the glen’s stream descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls along its course. The gorge path winds over and under waterfalls and through the spray of Cavern Cascade. Rim trails overlook the gorge.
Watkins Glen International Raceway
Watkins Glen International is North America’s premier racing facility. The Glen has a long and storied past from its Formula 1 roots to its position as New York’s only home to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The quantity and caliber of legendary drivers who have taken to the the turns of Watkins Glen International is nearly second to none.
